Services, Supports & Setbacks - Guelph

Young adults are often under-discussed in conversations around mental health and emotional support, but people entering adulthood face unique challenges compared to other age groups. Ledge Leadership wants to be a part of changing the conversation and creating innovative support programming for 18-30 year olds. In order to do that, we need YOU to tell us about your experiences and needs! We are hosting a focus group event on October 1st at 10C in Guelph, Ontario, to discuss the challenges you face in your life and how you would want support delivered! Your feedback will be included in a report written by Emjay Wright (a researcher and young adult themselves) that will guide Ledge’s services moving forward.

By attending the focus group, you’ll also experience Ledge’s workshop, Being Self-Led. This will be an introductory seminar exploring the different ways that stress can impact your body and mind, affecting what you want to do in your life, and who you want to be. Services, Supports & Setbacks is totally FREE, but spaces are limited so be sure to sign up now to secure your spot!

The event is taking place in person in 10C’s Activity Room on October 1st from 1pm-5:30pm, and is open to anyone 18-30 who is currently living in Ontario! 10C is a coworking and event space in downtown Guelph, dedicated to supporting local change makers and deepening community relationships. If you’re coming in from outside of town, 10C is located a 5 minute walk from Guelph’s GoTransit station at the following address:
